Frequently Asked Questions

  • We currently offer three nature-based programs:

Mums & Bubs: Play and Connect
Designed specifically for mothers and their babies (up to 12 months), these sessions provide a supportive space to connect with other mums while your baby enjoys gentle, sensory-rich play experiences.
    Held Mondays, 9:15am–11:15am.

    Nature & Messy Play Sessions
Suitable for babies through to children aged 6 years, these sessions celebrate curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. Each week offers a unique experience with a strong focus on nature immersion and sensory exploration.
    Held Wednesdays, 9:15am–11:15am.

    School Holiday Nature Workshops
Designed for children aged 3–8 years, these workshops run during Queensland school holidays in place of our regular programs. Each session explores a nature or sustainability theme, with children creating a hands-on project to take home.

  • Yes, we absolutely do! Mothers Many has a very comprehensive Public Liability Policy. Part of the session cost goes towards insurance.

  • I’ve chosen to use Humanitix instead of a traditional paid booking platform so that booking fees support a not-for-profit organisation, rather than a large tech company.

Ticket prices have been kept lower to balance the Humanitix booking fee, meaning you’re paying a similar amount overall — with the added benefit that the booking fee goes directly to charity.

You can learn more about where Humanitix directs its fees here:

  • The Mums & Bubs: Play and Connect sessions are specifically designed for mothers and their babies aged 6 weeks–12 months. These sessions focus on calm connection and support, which can be difficult to maintain when older children are present.

If you have older children, we’d absolutely love to welcome your family to our Nature & Messy Play Sessions, which are designed for babies and children up to 6 years of age and offer more space for movement, exploration, and play for older children.

Babies under 6 months attend free when accompanying a booked older sibling to a Nature & Messy Play Session.

  • All of our sessions are designed for children to attend with a parent or caregiver. Staying together allows space for connection — both with other families and between you and your child — while children play and explore in nature.

We also create a calm space with blankets set up for parents and carers who wish to sit, relax, and simply be present.
